5Star Rep (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Tampa, Florida, operates the website 5starrep.net (the “Site”) and provides reputation management services for local businesses (the “Services”). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you send us an enquiry or apply to work with us, we collect what you type into the form — your name, email address, phone number, business name, city, and anything you write in the message. When you become a client, we collect the business details we need in order to deliver the Services.

Google Business Profile data. With your authorisation, we access data from your Google Business Profile — your listing details, ratings and customer reviews — solely to provide the Services, including setting up or optimising your profile, drafting replies to reviews, and producing your monthly report.

Information collected automatically. When you submit a form we record the IP address it came from. We use it only to limit abuse of the form. Like most websites, our hosting provider also logs basic technical information about requests.

2. How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry or application
• To provide and improve the Services — plate setup, Google Business Profile work, drafted review replies, and monthly reporting
• To analyse your reviews in order to produce your report
• To take payment for services you have bought, and to send receipts
• To comply with our legal obligations and to prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

3. Google

Our Services interact with Google Business Profile on your behalf, with your authorisation. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use that data only to provide and improve the features described in this policy, we do not transfer it except as necessary to provide those features or as required by law, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read it except where you have asked us to, where it is necessary for security or to comply with the law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised.

5Star Rep is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. Your use of Google’s own services is governed by Google’s privacy policy.

4. Payments

This website does not take payment. When you buy a service from us, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. and your card details are provided directly to Stripe. We never store your full card number.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards, including limiting access to the people who need it to deliver the Services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take it seriously.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, or as long as we need it to provide the Services, comply with the law, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. If you stop using the Services, we delete or de-identify your Google Business Profile data within a reasonable period unless we are required to keep it.

7. Your choices

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or delete it
• Revoke our access to your Google Business Profile at any time in your Google account settings
• Opt out of non-essential email by telling us

8. Children

The Site and Services are for business use and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. If we make a material change we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, tell you by email or on the Site.
