Terms of service

These terms apply when you buy or use anything from 5Star Rep (“we”, “us”), based in Tampa, Florida. By buying a service or using this website, you agree to them.
1. What we provide
Depending on what you buy: review tap plates and their setup; creation, claiming and ongoing management of your Google Business Profile; drafted replies to your customer reviews; a monthly reputation report; and websites and hosting. What is included is whatever is described on our pricing page or agreed with you in writing.
2. Prices, tax and payment
Prices are as published or as quoted to you, and are before sales tax. Sales tax is calculated from your address at the time of purchase. Monthly services are billed monthly in advance.
3. Cancelling
Monthly services are month to month with no minimum term. You can cancel at any time and the service runs to the end of the period you have paid for. One-time purchases — plates and profile setup — are not recurring and there is nothing to cancel.
4. What we do not promise
We do not control Google. We cannot and do not guarantee any particular position in search results or on Maps, any particular star rating, or any particular number of reviews, calls or customers. What we commit to is the work: the setup, the profile management, the drafted replies and the reporting, done properly and on time.
We do not filter, screen or gate reviews. Every one of your customers gets the same plate and the same public Google review page, and we will not build anything that routes unhappy customers somewhere private. This is both Google’s policy and ours.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate business information, and the access we need to do the work you have asked for
- Do not ask us to write, buy, incentivise or solicit fake reviews — we will refuse and we will end the engagement
- You are responsible for what you publish on your own profile and website, including anything we draft that you approve
6. Plates
Once you have paid for a plate it is yours. If one arrives faulty or stops working through no fault of yours, tell us and we will replace it.
7. Your data
How we handle your information, including anything we access from your Google Business Profile, is set out in our privacy policy. You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time.
8. Ending the engagement
Either of us can stop at any time. If we stop, we will refund anything you have paid for a period we have not delivered. On request we will hand back control of anything of yours we hold, including your Google Business Profile.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid us for those services in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; if we make a material change we will update the effective date above. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
